First impressions are everything. When someone arrives outside your home, they need to like what they see. Your home’s curb appeal is like it’s chemistry with it’s visitors, or potential owners. If you’re in a loft, apartment, or condo, there is little you can do personally to improve or enhance your property’s curb appeal, but I have a few suggestions for you
You can try to schedule visits soon after the landscaper has visited, or perhaps after a nice rain
shower that makes everything look bright and shiny and clean.
Don’t schedule a visit right before trash pickup.
It wouldn’t hurt to take a little walk around and see that there isn’t any trash laying around.
Do you have a nice neighbor you can asked to just ‘happen’ to pass by and say something friendly?
Set the scene!
Take a good look at your entrance. Is your door clean and is the paint fresh? Is the door knob tight? Can you polish anything up? Can you spray some febreeze or air freshener in hallway? Make sure lightbuls are working in the hallways. Call the super for any important repairs that need to be done well in advance!
Make that first impression as welcoming and friendly as you can, your agent will do the rest!
